"Villalia was perfect for us, private and not over looked. The pool was lovely and warm, we swam everyday. You need a car, but that suits me as we loved exploring and finding fab food places. We will definitely be back!"

Lanzarote is rich in culture, history and natural beauty. Some of the most outstanding places to visit in Lanzarote are:
- Timanfaya National Park: a stunning natural park with volcanic landscapes, craters and caves.
- La Cueva de los Verdes: a natural cave with impressive rock formations and is used as a venue for cultural events.
- Jameos del Agua: a unique place created by the artist César Manrique, combining the natural beauty of the cave with a landscaped garden.
- Mirador del Río: a viewpoint in the north of the island offering stunning panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and the island of La Graciosa.
- Fundación César Manrique: an art and culture centre exhibiting the work of the artist César Manrique, who had a great influence on Lanzarote's architecture and design.
- Los Hervideros: an area of the coast where the sea waves crash against the cliffs and create beautiful rock formations.
- Playas de Papagayo: a series of white sandy beaches on the southern tip of the island, which are famous for their beauty and crystal clear waters.
However, the specific name of a volcano on Lanzarote is La Corona Volcano, which is located in the north of the island and has a height of 609 metres. La Corona is one of the largest volcanoes on Lanzarote and today it is possible to visit the crater of the volcano and enjoy its breathtaking views.
In general, Lanzarote is a safe travel destination. The island has a low crime rate and is considered a low-risk area in terms of security. However, as with any tourist destination, it is important to take certain precautions to ensure a safe and trouble-free experience. Some general recommendations include:
- Always keep an eye on your personal belongings and do not leave valuables unattended.
- Avoid lonely and dark areas at night.
- Be aware of sea conditions and follow the warnings and recommendations of the rescue and lifeguard services.
- Drive with caution and respect traffic regulations.
- Consult the travel recommendations and restrictions in relation to the current situation of the COVID-19 pandemic before planning a trip to Lanzarote.
